December 7, 2018, Salt Lake City, Utah – In Episode 61 of Corporate alliance’s podcast, Leadership and People, Jim Bennett talks about his decision to start NOW CFO and the big financial struggles companies were facing.
To close a gap in the market, Bennett created a business that would allow companies to have the benefit of a financial consultant at a fraction of the cost of a full-time employee.
Bennett shares with Larsen the nationwide process he created that allowed him to expand quickly into cities across the nation. Nearly every year since founding the company, he has been able to open several new markets resulting in 23 offices in 12 states. Bennett described the view he takes when approaching training and expansion, saying, “if the experiment is successful, we continue to test it further.”
Creating a consistent culture through training and other techniques has been a pillar of NOW CFO’s booming business. Over the last 13 years, Bennett has worked to improve these techniques and credited his success to those improvements. “We continue to make our training better; it’s a never-ending process. I love it,” he said during his interview.
