Scott Christensen

Scott Christensen, who joined NOW CFO in 2021 as a Consultant, has progressed to the role of Market President in Houston, Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Utah. Scott embarked on his career in banking, initially focusing on item clearing and international accounting at American Express. He later transitioned to public accounting as a tax preparer, specializing in operational businesses, oil and gas, conservation easements, and R&D. Through his expertise, clients have gained substantial tax savings and a deeper understanding of their financial data, vital for strategic decision-making.

Scott’s leadership abilities flourished at the firm, eventually leading him to become the Tax Director, overseeing a team of 15 accountants. He then ventured into private accounting, serving as interim CFO for a FinTech company, assuming the role of International Group Controller. Scott played a pivotal role in integrating the acquisition of a Money Service Bank, enabling the company’s expansion into e-payment services across 43 states. With an unwavering work ethic and determination, Scott is driven to propel his team and clients towards their professional and personal aspirations.
